Air America Radio cancelling Morning Sedition

Air American Radio are pulling the plug on Morning Sedition. Its last show will be December 15th. I have been Podcasting the show for a couple of months now and it is hillarious. Its too bad they are cancelling the show because it really is the best show on Air America. It is the successfully combines politics and humor. Marc Maron and Mark Riley are the hosts and they managed to build a following worldwide via the Internet and podcasting.

DAJ Annual Thanksgiving Dinner

The whole family went to the Democrats Abroad Japan Thanksgiving Dinner. We had a great time and met a lot of dedicated Democrats. Dinner included Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Mushrooms and Original Ginger Cranberry Relish. It was held at Fujimamas which is a great restaurant that blends Asian and Western cuisine.

Welcome

I have been waiting for a few years to get the domain name chrisphelan.com and finally have been able to.  Now that I have it, I need to do something with it so I have decided to make my first foray into the blog world with The Chris Phelan Chronicle.

One of my motives for starting this blog is to make myself more searchable on the Internet.  Back in the early days of the Internet, in about 1995 or 1996, there were far fewer people named Chris Phelan on the Internet.  I had a personal homepage and searching for my name usually got good results from the major search engines.  Since then, Google has made huge strides into the search market and many other Chris Phelans (imposters, not the real Chris Phelan) have gotten on line.  They are polluting my space and stepping all over the brand equity of my name!  Although my name returns more search results than ever, most are not results for me and my results are getting pushed farther from the top.  So I decided something needs to be done about it which is one of the reasons  I am creating this blog. 

Hopefully I will be able to keep people who stop by entertained as well.
